Chorsu bazaar
The Chorsu Bazaar is a bazaar in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent . It is located in a turquoise domed building in the center of the city.
history
The Chorsu bazaar is one of the oldest bazaars in Central Asia . For centuries it was one of the most important trading places along the Silk Road and benefited above all from its location at the crossroads of four important trade routes. In the past, the market was structured according to the products on offer, now this order has largely been abolished.

A wide variety of goods are offered at the Chorsu Bazaar. The focus is on:
- Fruits (dried fruits, melons , apples , pears , peaches )
- Nuts ( walnuts , pistachios , almonds )
- Spices ( pepper , cardamom , cumin )
- Handicrafts
Today the bazaar extends over two floors of the central domed building and the surrounding area.
