Chränen Openair

The Chränen Openair is an annual music event that takes place in spring on the parish festival site Chränen in the municipality of Neftenbach in Switzerland.

The Christian Openair Committee Neftenbach, which organizes the festival, has the legal form of an association and is not profit-oriented. The association acts with its board members, who form the core team of the festival organizing committee.

history

In 1985 an association, the “Chränen Open Air Committee”, was set up with the aim of organizing a stage for the next generation of musicians. The musical mix of local young talents up to national greats contributed to the success of the festival that still exists today. Participants were u. a. Züri West , Martin Schenkel , the Busters , William White , Marc Sway , Russkaja or Steff la Cheffe . Phenomden , Admiral James T. and Spencer had their musical debut here .
