Chris Bauer (musician)
Chris Bauer (born September 29, 1960 ) is an American jazz harmonica player.
Bauer played the harmonica at the age of nine and became a member of his father's band, The Harmonikings, when he was thirteen . He later performed with Jerry Murad's Harmonicats . In 1987 , he took fourth place in the International Harmonica Federation competition in Jersey . In addition to Murad and Toots Thielemans , he sees his role models in musicians such as Charlie Parker , Miles Davis , Chet Baker , Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett . He performs on numerous tours and preferably in Long Island jazz clubs .
