Christopher Charles "Chris" Cuomo (born August 9, 1970 in Queens , New York ) is an American television journalist . He is under contract with the news channel CNN , he is the presenter of the evening show Cuomo Prime Time .

Youth and education

Chris Cuomo's father Mario Cuomo (1932-2015), politician of the Democratic Party and from 1983 to 1994 Governor of the State of New York . His brother is Andrew Cuomo , also a Democratic Party politician and Governor of New York since January 1, 2011 . The family's ancestors come from Italy .

Chris Cuomo attended the Albany Academy, a private school in Albany, New York . He earned a bachelor's degree in the University of Yale and graduated in law as a JD from. He is a licensed attorney and worked as a lawyer for some time after graduating.

Cuomo has been married to Cristina Greeven Cuomo, who works for various glossy magazines, since 2001, and they have 3 children. The family lives in New York City.

On March 31, 2020, CNN announced that Cuomo had contracted the coronavirus as part of the COVID-19 pandemic and had been diagnosed with COVID-19 , but that he was continuing to work from quarantine at home .
