Christopher Peter Cusiter (born June 13, 1982 in Aberdeen ) is a Scottish rugby union player who is active for the Scottish national team and the Glasgow Warriors . He is playing in the position of half a crowd .

Cusiter made his debut for Scotland in the 2004 Six Nations against Wales . His first attempt was against Australia in the autumn of the same year . At the Six Nations 2006 he was seriously injured, so that he missed the summer tour to South Africa . He returned in November and put another try in the national jersey, the opponent this time Romania . In the following game against the Pacific Islanders , however, he suffered an injury again, but was fit again in time for the Six Nations 2007 . Since his debut, he has competed with Mike Blair for the starting position as a scrum half. For the Tour of the British and Irish Lions 2005 he was preferred to Blair, who was able to prevail against Cusiter at the 2007 World Cup and the Six Nations 2008 .

Cusiter's brother Calum also plays rugby union. Both were active together with the Boroughmuir RFC and the Border Reivers . With the dissolution of this association, Cusiter moved to France, to USA Perpignan. After two seasons there, he returned to Scotland, the Glasgow Warriors have signed him for three years.
