Christopher "Chris" Forrester (born December 17, 1992 in Dublin ) is an Irish football player who was most recently under contract with FC Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership .

Career

Chris Forrester was born in Dublin , the capital of the Republic of Ireland. In his youth he played for the clubs FC Belvedere from Fairview and Bohemians from Phibsborough. In the 2011 season he played his first professional games for Bohemians. In 20 games in the League of Ireland , he scored one goal against the Bray Wanderers . In January 2012 Forrester moved within Dublin to league rivals St Patrick's Athletic . There he was a regular player. With the club he won the Irish championship in 2013 , the cup in 2014 and the League of Ireland Cup in 2015 . In August 2015 he moved to the English third division team Peterborough United . Three years later, the 25-year-old moved to FC Aberdeen in Scotland. Half a year later, in January 2019, the contract in Aberdeen was terminated.

Chris Forrester played twice in the Irish Under-21s in 2013 .
