Chris Monk
Chris Monk ( Christopher Leslie Monk; born September 29, 1951 ) is a former British sprinter .
At the 1973 Universiade he won silver over 200 m .
In 1974 he was at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch each sixth over 200 m and with the English team in the 4-by-100-meter relay ; over 100 m he reached the semi-finals. At the European Athletics Championships in Rome , he was eliminated over 200 m in the semifinals and with the British 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run.
Over 200 m he was English champion in 1973 and English indoor champion in 1975, over 60 m in 1976 English indoor champion.
