Chris Priestley

Christopher Priestley (born August 25, 1958 in Hull ) is a British author , illustrator and cartoonist .

Life

Priestley studied at Manchester Polytechnic from 1976 to 1980. From 1981 to 1985 he worked as a cartoonist for Record Mirror magazine and provided illustrations for The Times and The Independent . From 1990 to 1996 he worked for The Economist and then worked for The Independent for two years .

He has been writing himself since 1998. Priestley has been interested in scary stories since childhood, which is reflected in his work. He also paints. Chris Priestley lives in Cambridge with his family .
