Christine Diane "Chrissy" Teigen (born November 30, 1985 in Delta , Utah ) is an American model and author . She is represented by the New York agency IMG Models .

life and career

Chrissy Teigen grew up in the small town of Delta in the US state of  Utah . Her father is from Norway and her mother from Thailand .

She was discovered in a surf shop. Her career began in 2004 at the fashion agency IMG Models . By being elected to IMG Babe , she achieved widespread awareness. She later appeared on the cover of Maxim and Cosmopolitan, among others . She also appeared in Sports Illustrated , Vogue and Esquire magazines .

On February 23, 2016, she published a cookbook called Cravings , which became a New York Times bestseller .

She is married to singer John Legend , whom she met on the set of the music video Stereo in 2007. The wedding took place on September 14, 2013 in Como ( Italy ). He dedicated the song All of Me to her . Their daughter was born in 2016.

In 2018 she became the mother of a son.
