Christa-Maria Blankenburg

Christa-Maria Blankenburg (born January 26, 1934 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Christa-Maria Blankenburg attended a business school from 1949 to 1951. From 1960 to 1962 she studied at the Catholic School for Social Work, in 1963 she became a state-approved social worker . In 1965, Blankenburg became a senior civil servant .

In 1952 Blankenburg joined the CDU. She was able to move up to the district assembly in the Schöneberg district in 1965. In the Berlin election in 1981 she was initially not elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, but a few weeks later Günter Bock left parliament and Blankenburg was able to move up. In the 1990 election she was able to win the direct mandate for the constituency of Schöneberg 1. In 1995 she left the House of Representatives.

Blankenburg was honored with the Order of Merit of the State of Berlin in 1999.
