Christa-Mette Mumm von Schwarzenstein , b. Lohmeÿer (born December 30, 1917 ; † December 5, 2011 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a city councilor of the CDU in Frankfurt am Main.

biography

In 1940 she married Georg Mumm von Schwarzenstein , the grandson of Frankfurt's first mayor Daniel Heinrich Mumm von Schwarzenstein .

Christa-Mette Mumm von Schwarzenstein was a member of the city council of Frankfurt am Main from 1968 to 1989. From 1972 to 1985 she was the deputy head of the city council.

She is buried with her husband in the main cemetery in Frankfurt .

Until February 1997 she was the managing director of the Heusenstammstiftung for needy citizens.

She was committed to the reconstruction around the Römerberg and the old opera .

She was the bearer of the Roman plaques in bronze, silver and gold, the Letter of Honor of the State of Hesse and the Cross of Merit on the ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany . Furthermore, she was the city ​​elder in Frankfurt.
