Christa Runtenberg

Christa Runtenberg (* 1963 ) is a German philosopher , didactician and university lecturer .

Life

Christa Runtenberg studied philosophy and German at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . From 1995 to 2000 she worked there as a research assistant and did her doctorate with Kurt Bayertz and Ekkehard Martens . She then worked from 2000 to 2005 as a research assistant at the Philosophical Institute of the University of Rostock , then at the Philosophical Seminar of the University of Münster, before replacing the professorship for philosophy didactics at the University of Oldenburg in the summer semester 2017 , which she has held since the winter semester 2017/2018. She is currently director of the Institute for Philosophy there.

Focus

Christa Runtenberg's main research areas include applied practical philosophy, applied ethics, anthropology and educational philosophy, specialist didactics of philosophy and philosophizing in lower secondary level as well as with children in elementary school and in elementary education.
