Christel Menzel-Schrebkowski (* as Christel Schrebkowski, married: Christel Menzel) is a singer ranging from classical hymns to new sacred music of the 1970s in the contra-alto range .

Life

Menzel-Schrebkowski was first known in the 1960s as a soloist in the radio choir of the Beatenberg Bible School . She soon produced her own singles with Peter van Woerden for the label Happy Message in the Song . Her initial repertoire of traditional sacred songs such as chorales and gospel hymns was expanded to include the New Spiritual Song in the 1970s . After numerous traditional singles, she played for her first long-play album, Go with Jesus through your life, exclusively recording new guitar songs by Johannes Jourdan and Gerti Marén . Her musical style was updated even after that up to early Christian pop music . Her late publications in the 1980s for gospel broadcasting are again shaped by traditional hymns.

Christel Menzel Schrebkowski was already a frequent guest on the nostalgia concert series Unforgettable - Songs that remain of the ERF and Gerth media .
