Christian Andreas Affolter (born January 4, 1993 in Bern ) is a Swiss basketball player .

career

Affolter left his hometown Bern in 2012 and the team of the STB Bern Giants to move to North America. He first played for one season for the On Point Academy team in the United States (state of Oklahoma ) before joining Cape Breton University (Province of Nova Scotia ) in 2013 . Between 2013 and 2017 he played a total of 60 games for the university team and scored an average of four points per mission.

End of July 2018 changed Affolter to the Lugano Tigers in the National League A . The separation took place at the end of November 2018. In seven league games for Lugano he averaged 2.9 points per game.

National team

With the U20 national team, he took part in the B-European Championships in 2012 and 2013. In 2015 he played for the Swiss student national teams at the 2015 Summer Universiade in Gwangju .
