Abbot house in Altorf

The abbot house of the Altdorf monastery in Altorf , a French commune in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ), was opened in the 17th and 18th centuries. Century erected. The abbot's residence on Place Saint-Cyriaque has been classified as a Monument historique since 1932 .

The three-storey house also contained the rooms for the guests of the monastery, the archive and the cash register. After the monastery was closed and sold in the course of the revolution , the rectory and the parish school were set up in the former abbot's house in the 1820s.
