Christian Cornelius Paus
Christian Cornelius Paus (born October 18, 1800 , † April 8, 1879 ) was a Norwegian lawyer and politician . He was judge, magistrate, town clerk and chief of police in Skien from 1847 to 1874, member of the Storting from 1848 to 1861 and served three times as district president of Bratsberg (1862–1863, 1864 and 1868–1869). He was Henrik Ibsen's uncle .
He belonged to the Paus family .
