Christian Fina (born April 4, 1974 ) is a former German handball player and functionary.

Career

The 1.89 m tall left-hander began his career at Frisch Auf Göppingen . With the B-youth he was Württemberg champion. He came to the Bundesliga team via the second team. Later he played for TV Eitra in the 1st and 2nd handball league . In 1996 he moved to the Bundesliga club TUSEM Essen . After six years he went to the 2nd Bundesliga for TV Kornwestheim . The 25-time junior national player ended his career there in 2006. He then became sporting director at the second division club HBR Ludwigsburg . After Kornwestheim's withdrawal from the 2nd Bundesliga in 2007, Fina returned to the field and helped his team advance to the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga. In 2010 he finally hung up his shoes. From April 2011 he was managing director of the second division club HC Erlangen , but ended his engagement at the end of the year.

Fina later took over the coaching of a youth team from SV Salamander Kornwestheim, with whom he took part in the 2013 qualifying round for the A-Jugend-Bundesliga .
