Christian Friedrich Reusch

Christian Friedrich Reusch (born November 25, 1778 in Königsberg (Prussia) , † April 25, 1848 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer in Königsberg (Prussia).

Life

Christian Friedrich Reusch was a son of the Königsberger physicist and librarian Karl Daniel Reusch . Reusch studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg from 1793 to 1797 and became an assessor for the government in 1803 . Appointed senior president in 1815 , he became curator of the University of Königsberg in 1824 and headed the government departments for churches and schools until 1831.

The Albertina awarded him an honorary doctorate in 1837 .
