Christian Gloria

Christian Gloria (born June 9, 1957 in Lünen ) is a German lawyer and scientist.

Life

Christian Gloria studied law at the Ruhr University Bochum from 1977 to 1982 . In 1978 he became active in the Corps Neoborussia-Berlin zu Bochum . Since 1985 research assistant at the Chair of Public Law IV - International Law - the Ruhr University, he became in 1987 with a doctoral thesis at Knut Ipsen doctorate . His dissertation was awarded summa cum laude by the legal faculty of the Ruhr University Bochum and was awarded the university prize in 1988. When Dr. iur. In 1987, Gloria took up the position of local spokesman in the Kösener Seniors Convents Association . At the end of his year in office, he was awarded the Klinggräff Medal of the Stifterverein Alten Corpsstudenten in 1988 .

He is currently practicing as a lawyer in Essen . Since 2007 he has also been chairman of the church labor court for the diocese of Essen , deputy chairman of the supervisory board of the Hochsauerland hospital and, since 2012, managing director of the ORC-Fachverband e. V. He is a lecturer at the FOM University of Economics & Management (Essen).

Jurisprudence

The highest German courts have quoted Gloria. The BVerfG in its decision of June 10, 1997 (2 BVR 1516/96), the BGH on June 26, 2003 (III ZR 245/98), the BFH in the decision of January 27, 1988 (IR 241/83) and the BVerwG on July 1, 1999 (7 ​​B 2/99).
