history

Netherlands

Satudarah MC was founded in Moordrecht in 1990 . The first members were Indonesian immigrants from the Moluccas archipelago , a former colony in the Netherlands. The club opened quickly and today sees itself as a multicultural MC without prejudice. On July 3, 2009, the previously independent Trailer-Trash MC, a motorcycle club made up of people who referred to themselves as " gypsies ", joined the Satudarah MC. A total of four chapters were added. In the Netherlands (as of 2012) the MC has around 800 members. Satudarah MC was a member of the “Council of Eight” (“Raad van eight”) from 1997 to 2011, which acts as an advisory body to the largest MCs in the Netherlands.

The first chapter outside the Netherlands was founded in Antwerp ( Belgium ).

Germany

On June 3, 2012, the 20-man Brotherhood Clown-Town in Duisburg-Rheinhausen joined the Satudarah MC. The first chapter on German soil that had the status of a prospect chapter was welcomed in a large celebration with 250 people. Since January 2013, arguments with members of the Hells Angels became apparent. On April 9, 2013, the clubhouse in Rheinhausen was searched by the police. Two senior club members, including ex-president Yildiray Kaymaz , also known as Ali Osman, were arrested. The officers found a loaded assault rifle on him . He admitted his violations and was remorseful. In an official statement, he distanced himself from the MC and advised his former brothers to quit the MC.

In 2013 the Satudarah MC expressed their intention to found a "Club for Brothers Without Motorcycles" in Germany, which is to be called Saudara .

On January 19, 2015, the association Satudarah Maluku MC , including its sub-organizations Satudarah MC Tigatanah, Satudarah MC Dark Company, Satudarah MC Nusa Ina, Satudarah MC Yeniceri, Satudarah MC Borderland, Satudarah MC Northside and Satudarah MC No Mercy, was announced in Germany the Federal Minister of the Interior , Thomas de Maizière , banned because the purpose and the activity run counter to criminal law.

Symbolism and name

The color of the MC consists of four parts. The top rocker bears the name of the MC, the bottom rocker shows the respective chapter. In the case of the former Trailer Trash Chapter, the term Trailer Trash is used . There is also a simple MC. The club colors are black and yellow, with the font being black. The logo is a double-headed Native American with a black and white head and a red braid. The name Satudarah comes from the Malay language and means a blood . The club is thus pointing to its multi-ethnic orientation. The Native American feather headdress has nine feathers, indicating the founding members. The black and white design of the head and the name suggest the equality of all races .

Many members wear the bottom rocker Maluku and the national flag of the former Republic of Maluku Selatan as a patch .

Criminal connections

According to the Dutch police (2012), the club is close to the Bandidos . The Hells Angels are said to be a common enemy . However, this is denied by the MC himself, who sees himself as an independent MC who is neutral towards both the Bandidos and the Hells Angels. The Dutch police also claim that the club is involved in drug trafficking and prostitution . In addition, the club is said to be responsible for a number of violent crimes. In 2012, a police spokesman named five of the ten most wanted criminals in the Netherlands as members of the MC.
