The Breed Motorcycle Club is a motorcycle club from the United States that is part of the Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs . The club was founded in Asbury Park , New Jersey in 1965 . It reached its greatest spread in the mid-1980s when it took over members of the Aces and Eights Motorcycle Club from Riverside , New Jersey. In 1986, after taking over the Branded Motorcycle Club, the club had 60 members and three chapters in New Jersey.

Criminal activity

The Breeds, based primarily in New Jersey, control the methamphetamine trade there. Their biggest rival is the Pagan's Motorcycle Club , which is also located there . To represent its interests, the club uses violence, in particular bodily harm, but also drive-by shoots .

In March 1971, members of The Breed were involved in a mass brawl with the Hells Angels at a motorcycle show in Cleveland , Ohio . Over 100 bikers took part in the dispute. There were four dead; 57 rockers were arrested.

On January 28, 2000, ten members of The Breed were arrested for extortion and rape . They had extorted protection money at several strip clubs, tattoo shops, and other businesses in Long Branch , New Jersey. Four women had reported to the police. One woman testified that she was chained to the ground, humiliated and abused for several days.

In July 2003, three members of the club were arrested after attacking a former member of the club. The attack was in revenge for a testimony the breakaway member made in court.

On July 21, 2006, a total of fifteen members were arrested. In a large-scale police operation by the Attorney General's Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and the Philadelphia Police Department , under the code name "Operation Breed on a Wire", a large crystal meth ring was dug, including the president of the Bristol local chapter (" Chapter ") ) John "Junior" Napoli and the President of the Mother Chapter in Jackson, New Jersey . Napoli was convicted as the leader of the drug ring that operated in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and more than 55 kilos of crystal meth, between May 2005 and June 2006 with a street value of more than 11,250,000 US dollars to have sold. The police seized 10 kilos of crystal meth, $ 500,000, 44 firearms, several homemade explosives and 24 motorcycles. John Napoli was sentenced to 36 years in prison. Some of the accused were acquitted.
