Christian Grünwald

Christian Grünwald (born May 24, 1964 in Wangen im Allgäu ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training as a chef, Grünwald went to Switzerland, Luxembourg, America and the Caribbean. In 1989 he opened the August restaurant in Augsburg .

In 2007 his restaurant received its first Michelin star . In 2009 the second Michelin star was added. In April 2016 Grünwald's restaurant "August" moved to the upper floor of the Villa Haag .

As a major exception in the two-star category, Christian Grünwald does not have its own website .
