Christian Heinke
Christian Heinke (born August 21, 1970 in Lüneburg ) is a German writer .
Life
Heinke studied media studies , German literature and philosophy at the Ruhr University Bochum . He works as a freelance writer for radio at Westdeutscher Rundfunk and the Düsseldorf Film Museum. In 2005 he began his project “Die Haut”, a thriller about a serial killer who murders a number of photo models, as a radio play in the form of a podcast . He became known to a larger audience through the podcast section of the Apple iTunes music platform. Heinke mainly writes thrillers, especially serial killers with a mythological reference. The action takes place predominantly in the United States and the protagonists are mostly women.
He is also head of the media library at the Institute for Media Studies at the Ruhr University Bochum and is the moderator and organizer of the "Films in the Square" series of events.
Heinke lives in Bochum .
