Christian Hoppenstock

Christian Hoppenstock (born December 16, 1859 in Hameln ; † June 6, 1936 there ) was a German bricklayer and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Hoppenstock had been a bricklayer in Bad Salzuflen since 1896 . He was of Protestant denomination and married. He was a leading party and trade union official in Salzuflen. In 1901 he was a co-founder and first chairman of the SPD in Salzuflen. In the state elections in Lippe in 1919 , he ran for 12th place on the SPD list for the Lippe state parliament . After Heinrich Pieper resigned his mandate on November 8, 1919, he moved to the state parliament, to which he belonged until the end of the 1921 electoral term. From 1920 to 1928 he was a city councilor in Salzuflen.
