Heinrich Pieper (politician, 1878)

Heinrich Pieper (born April 28, 1878 in Himmighausen ; † March 7, 1953 in Bad Pyrmont ) was a German typesetter and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Pieper, who was a Catholic denomination, attended the elementary school in Himmighausen and then worked as a typesetter. From 1914 to 1919 he was a workers' secretary in Detmold . In 1920 he was spokesman for the trade union cartel in Detmold. From 1923 to 1929 he worked as a businessman in Detmold. He later lived in Sabbenhausen / Lüdge.

Pieper was a member of the SPD and took part in its 9th party congress in 1916 and the 10th party congress in 1917 in Würzburg. From November 1918 to February 1919 he was a member of the Lippe People's and Soldiers' Council. In the state elections in Lippe in 1919 , he was elected to the Lippe state parliament, to which he belonged until his resignation on November 8, 1919. Nachrücker was Christian Hoppe floor . From 1916 to 1917 and 1919 he was a city councilor and from May 1919 to March 1923 he was a city councilor in Detmold.
