Christian Ilić (born July 22, 1996 in Friesach , Austria ) is a Croatian soccer player .

Career

Ilić began his career at WSV St. Lambrecht . In 2007 he moved to FC Judenburg , and in 2010 to SVU Murau . In 2011 he returned to St. Lambrecht, where he played in the combat team in the sixth class lower division North B from then on .

After relegation, he moved to SC Weiz for the 2012/13 season , where he was used for the second team and less often for the combat team. In the summer of 2014 he joined the second division TSV Hartberg . He made his debut in the second division in September 2014 when he came on as a substitute for Miodrag Vukajlovic in the 86th minute against SKN St. Pölten on the ninth matchday of the 2014/15 season .

At the end of the season he had to relegate to the regional league with Hartberg . After two seasons in that league, they were able to return to professional football in 2017. Ilić came in the promotion season in 20 games in which he was able to score a goal. With Hartberg he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2018 . After the 2018/19 season he left Hartberg and moved to Romania to Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe .

After only two weeks at Sepsi he moved in July 2019 to Scotland for FC Motherwell , in which he received a running until June 2020 contract. The expiring contract was not renewed after eight appearances in the Scottish Premiership, whereupon he left the club on May 31, 2020. In August 2020 he found a new club with the Bulgarian locomotive Plovdiv .
