Storm Model Management was founded in 1987 by Sarah Doukas, with the financial support of Richard Branson , who in return received a 50% partnership. In 2002 Doukas was able to buy the shares from her business partner Richard Branson.
In 2009 Doukas sold the majority stake in the model agency to Simon Fuller's company 19 Entertainment Ltd. , but continues to run the business with her brother Simon Chambers.
