Andreja Pejić

Andreja Pejić (* 28. August 1991 in Tuzla , Yugoslavia as Andrej Pejic ) is an Australian model BiH origin.

Pejić was best known for androgynous appearance and presented, for example, at the Paris Fashion Weeks January 2011 for Gaultier , both men's and women's fashion. In an interview with La Monda magazine, she described herself as “living between the sexes”, but preferred the feminine pronoun.

Pejić also ran for both genders at the fashion shows for the Michalsky collections as part of the Stylenite in July 2011 and January 2012. In January 2011 she was ranked 16th among the top 50 male models at models.com and also 98th in the UK FHM list of 100 Sexiest Women in the same year .

In 2013, Pejić played a glamor star in the video for the single The Stars (Are Out Tonight) from David Bowie's album The Next Day .

At the beginning of 2014 she underwent an operation to adapt her genitals to the female gender and now has the first name Andreja.
