Lady Kitty Eleanor Spencer (born December 28, 1990 in London , England ) is a British It girl , model and active in the charity sector. She is a niece of Princess Diana .

biography

Spencer is the eldest daughter of Charles Spencer, Viscount Althorp and his first wife Victoria Lockwood. Lord Althorp succeeded his father as the 9th Earl Spencer in 1992 , and Spencer moved to South Africa in 1995 with their twin sisters and brother. As the daughter of an earl , she has been using the courtesy form Lady since then . After their parents' divorce in 1997, her father returned to England to take care of the Althorp family estate , while Spencer stayed with her mother in South Africa . She attended Reddam House, a private school in Cape Town . She spent her childhood away from the media hype.

She had one of her first public appearances in 2007 when she attended a memorial service in honor of Diana, Princess of Wales at the side of her cousins Prince William and Prince Harry . In 2009 she made her debut at the exclusive Bal des débutantes in the Hôtel de Crillon . She and her father and siblings attended the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in 2011 , and she was also part of the wedding party at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle .

After graduating from high school, Spencer studied psychology, politics and English literature at the University of Cape Town . In 2012 she moved to London , where she obtained a Masters Degree in Luxury Brand Management from Regent's University London . She is under contract as a model at Storm Model Management . She graced the cover of the British high society magazine Tatler several times , from which she was named the most sought-after bachelor in 2014. In February 2017 she walked the catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week , and in August 2017 she made the cover of Vogue Japan . In 2018 she became the patron of the charity Give Us Time, for which she has been an ambassador and trustee since 2014 . In 2016, she was named ambassador for Centrepoint, a charity with Prince William as patron.
