Eva Herzigová
Eva Herzigová (born March 10, 1973 in Litvínov , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech actress and supermodel .
Life
At the age of 16, she won a modeling competition organized by the French model agency Metropolitan Models in Prague , which is how her modeling career began. Herzigová never went to modeling school and had to get used to the media hype.
When the American company Sara Lee started a campaign in May 1994 with a picture of Herzigova in Wonderbra on a large area in New York's Times Square , she became known as "Miss Wonderbra". She then received orders for Victoria's Secret , Louis Vuitton and Hugo Boss . She was also featured on the covers of Elle and Vogue .
Herzigová played supporting roles in Jean-Marie Poire's film The Guardian Angels and Ellen von Unwerth's film Inferno . In 2006 she was the godmother of the now crashed cruise ship Costa Concordia .
In 1996 Herzigová married Tico Torres , the drummer of the band Bon Jovi , and they divorced in 1999. Since 2006 she has been married to the Italian Gregorio Marsiaj, with whom she had been in a relationship since 2001. The couple have three children together: George (* 2007), Philipe (* 2011) and Edward (* 2013).
