Christian Isbert

Christian Ehrenfried Isbert (born April 8, 1929 in Berlin ; † January 5, 1986 in Unterlengenhardt ) was a German life coach , graphologist , astrologer , editor and translator . With his translations of numerous books he was very much connected to anthroposophy and yoga.

Life

Christian Isbert was the son of the Alsatian yoga leader and non-fiction author Otto Albrecht Isbert and his wife, the kindergarten teacher Wilhelmine Karl Isbert (1901–1986).

From 1937 he had to struggle with polio , which later led to his early death. At the end of 1938 he moved to Stuttgart with his family; his grandfather, Major General Karl Isbert , later moved in. Together with his brother Christian Isbert attended the Waldorf School Uhlandshöhe and the Eberhard-Ludwigs-Gymnasium Stuttgart . Since he could play the piano well and received care, he graduated from high school, studied and then worked as a translator; He made some translations together with his father.

He remained single and died in 1986 at the age of 56. His grave was in the cemetery until 2016, where his parents were also buried. His funeral was on January 10, 1986.
