Christian Ludwig Brau
Christian Ludwig Brau (born October 10, 1746 in Drammen , † February 4, 1777 in Barby ) was a hymn poet . He worked as a teacher in several schools of the Moravian Brethren and composed the third and fifth stanzas of the song O, which was printed in the Brothers 'hymnbook in 1778 , Jesus' death faces were eternally imprinted on my soul! The other stanzas were composed by Christian Gregor and Johann Jakob Bossart .
