Christian Odzuck

Christian Odzuck (* 1978 in Halle / Saale ) is a German sculptor .

life and work

Odzuck studied communication design at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2004 and from 2005 to 2010 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Rita McBride . He also took part in events by Hubert Kiecol , David Rabinowitch and Walter Nikkels . Odzuck teaches as a lecturer at the Department of Design (Peter Behrens School of Arts) and was appointed as visiting professor at the College for Art and Design in Wuhan, China in 2007. Odzuck has headed the Institute for Monumental Sculpture and Adoration of Bruno Sacco since 2010 .

Christian Odzuck moves with his objects, architectural projects and installations on the threshold of art and architecture.

In 2014 he was awarded the Fine Arts Prize of the State Capital Düsseldorf and the Brachum Art Prize.
