Christian Rossi (comic artist)
Christian Rossi (born December 31, 1954 in Saint-Denis ) is a French comic artist .
After studying art at L'École Estienne in Paris , he made his debut with short stories in the youth magazine Formule 1 , then he drew for the magazine Circus , Gomma! and L´Écho des savanes and had their first album releases with Glénat with the series Frédéric Joubert . At the beginning of the 1980s, he created the western series Le Chariot de Thespis (German: Der Coverwagen des Thespis ) with the scenographer Philippe Bonifay and the three-volume comic novel Les Errances de Julius Antoine (German: The confusion of Julius Antoine ) with the copywriter Serge Le Tendre ).
Rossi took over the western series Jim Cutlass from Jean Giraud from volume 2 onwards in the early 1990s , but Giraud remained as a copywriter in the following volumes. At the same time Rossi produced the thriller Le Cycle des deux horizons (German: The cycle of two horizons ) for the copywriter Pierre Makyo . In the 2000s he drew the history comic Tirésias and the western series WEST
