Christian Steinicken
Christian Steinicken (* 1831 in Munich , † 1896 ) was a German painter , steel and engraver .
Life
Steinicken was in contact with Anselm Feuerbach in 1863 , who deferred financial means he had borrowed. He captured numerous cityscapes, especially of Munich, in watercolors. On behalf of the Bavarian King Ludwig II , he designed the new Falkenstein Castle from the Falkensteiner Burg in watercolors .
