Christian Vorländer (film composer)

Christian Vorländer (* 1983 or 1984) is a German film composer and musician .

Life

Christian Vorländer studied music in Enschede in the Netherlands on the grounds that it was the only place where you didn't have to study classical instruments. On site he got to know Simon Heeger , with whom he would later found the company 2WEI Music .

After graduating , Vorländer moved to Los Angeles , California , USA for 6 years to work for Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL . In Los Angeles he participated in the composition of film music with Hans Zimmer, such as For example, for the films 300 or Man of Steel , a large part of the film music for Mad Max. Fury Road was written by Vorländer.

After returning to Germany , he and Simon Heeger founded the company 2WEI, which has its headquarters in Hamburg .

Prices

In 2018 the duo won a Golden Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity .
