Christiane Hrasky
Christiane Hrasky (* 1970 in Riesa on the Elbe) is a German church musician and choir director .
Life
Hrasky studied church music at the Evangelical University for Church Music in Dresden and organ at the University of Music in Freiburg i.Br. From 1996 to 2001 she worked as a church musician at the Trinity Church in Reichenbach in Vogtland , then until 2011 at the Paul Gerhardt Church in Hamburg-Altona . In 2009 she took over the management of the Franz Schubert Choir Hamburg .
From 2013 to 2015 Hrasky was a lecturer for choir conducting , children's choir conducting and voice training at the University of the Arts in Bremen . From 2014 to 2015 she directed the Singschule Hamburg-Niendorf .
From November 2015 she was regional cantor of the Evangelical Choir Association of Lower Saxony-Bremen with 32,000 singers in 1,200 choirs. In 2018 she was appointed regional cantor of the North Church.
