Jentsch was from 1980 to 1984 and from 1994 to 2001 the skip of the women's team at the Curling Club Füssen . In 1985/1986 and 1991/1992 she played in the SC-Riessersee team with Skip Andrea Schöpp . With this team she became European champion (1991) under the name Christiane Scheibel and won the bronze medal (1992). In 1985 this team finished 5th at the World Cup. In 1992, a demonstration competition was played at the Winter Olympics in Albertville , which the German team won with Christiane Jentsch as substitute. For this, the German curlers Stephanie Mayr , Andrea Schöpp, Christiane Jentsch (at that time still Scheibel) and Wagner received the silver laurel leaf.
In 2002 she turned her back on competitive sports and now plays in hobby teams for the Füssen Curling Club.
