Christina Hahn

Christina Thiam, née Hahn (born September 22, 1980 in Berlin ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Hahn comes from the youth department of TuS Lichterfelde . In 1995 she took part in the European Championship with the German national cadet team. In 2000, the 1.73-meter-tall formation player was the best scorer of the German selection at the Junior European Championship in Slovakia with 15.6 points per match .

In the Bundesliga , Hahn played for VfL Bochum , Osnabrücker SC , Gold-Zack Wuppertal and NB Oberhausen . With the Osnabrücker SC she became German runner-up in 1998, with Gold-Zack Wuppertal she won the German championship and the German Cup in 2002.

She played a total of ten international matches for the German senior national team in 2000 and 2001. After working in finance departments of various companies (Textron Inc. and Coca-Cola Company), she started working in the office of the Berlin Basketball Association in October 2018 and took on tasks in sponsor support, the implementation of association events and the further development and promotion of association projects. She worked for the basketball association until August 2019 and then switched to a landlord of office space.

Private

Hahn has been married to former professional soccer player Pablo Thiam since 2011 . Her sister Gundula was also a national basketball player.
