Gundula Hahn

Gundula Hahn , married Gundula Laabs (born February 16,  1975 in Berlin ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Like her younger sister Christina Hahn, Hahn comes from the youth of TuS Lichterfelde . In 1992 she moved to MTV Wolfenbüttel in the Bundesliga and stayed there until 1997. With Wolfenbüttel she was represented several times in European Cup competitions: In the Ronchetti Cup of the 1996/97 season she was the best MTV basket scorer with 17.3 points per match. In 1994 and 1995 she came on a total of five missions with the German senior national team. 1997/98 she played at SV Halle in the Bundesliga.

In the 1998/99 season she was part of the squad at Buffalo University in the USA and then at Webber International University (State of Florida ). After her return to Germany, Hahn played for Bundesliga club SC Rist Wedel from December 2001 . In addition to the league games, European Cup appearances with Wedel were added.

From the 2004/05 season she was assistant coach of the women's team in Wedel and later head coach of the team in the second and first regional league. It led the team to promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2014, which was not noticed. She also coached the Wedel team in the female youth basketball league (WNBL), acted as a youth coordinator and as a trainer for other youth teams.

At the German Basketball Association (DBB), she looked after the female U17 national team in the basketball variant " 3-on-3 " at the Youth Olympic Games in 2010 and became a member of the DBB's teaching and coaching committee.
