Christina of hair
Christina von Haaren (* 1954 in Bad Bederkesa ) is a German landscape planner and ecologist .
Life
In 1978 Christina von Haaren obtained her diploma from the University of Hanover , where she also received her doctorate in 1988. Since 1998 she has been Professor of Landscape Planning and Nature Conservation at the Institute for Environmental Planning at the University of Hanover. She has been Vice President for International Affairs there since May 2019.
From 2000 to 2008 von Haaren was a member of the Advisory Council for Environmental Issues at the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety . From 2000 to 2002 she was also a member of the scientific advisory board for spatial planning of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing .
