Christine Bauer-Jelinek (* 23 Feb. u ar 1952 in Vienna ) is an Austrian non-fiction writer.

Christine Bauer-Jelinek studied education and psychology and worked as a teacher and psychological consultant in the 1970s. She has been a self-employed business coach since 1987. For 10 years she headed the private Institute for Power Competence she founded in Vienna. In her books, Bauer-Jelinek deals with the concept of power , very similar to the definition of Max Weber as "the ability to impose one's will against resistance." She is board member of the Club of Vienna .
