Christine Baur

Christine Baur (born December 26, 1957 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ). From 2008 to 2013 she was a member of the Tyrolean state parliament and from May 24, 2013 to March 28, 2018, state councilor in the Platter II state government .

education and profession

Baur attended elementary school from 1964 to 1968 and then switched to the Ursuline School of Economics and Business Studies in Innsbruck until 1976, from which she graduated in 1976 with the Matura . As a result, she completed a high school graduate course at the Innsbruck Commercial Academy from 1978 to 1979 and studied law from 1981. Baur first graduated in 1986 with the academic degree Magistra iur. and obtained the academic degree doctor iur in 2000 . at the University of Innsbruck . In addition, Baur completed a postgraduate course from 2000 to 2002, which she completed in June 2002 with a Master of European Social Security and in December 2000 completed her training as a mediator. Baur also attended advanced training courses in conflict management, coaching and mediation.

Baur worked from 1977 to 1980 as a commercial clerk in a trading company and from April to September 1986 was an academic trainee at the Institute for Public Law and Political Science at the University of Innsbruck. She completed her legal internship from November 1986 to March 1988 at the Innsbruck Regional and District Court and between July 1989 and October 1993 she was a contract assistant at the Institute for Public Law and Political Science at the University of Innsbruck. Afterwards, Baur worked as a contract assistant at the Institute for Labor and Social Law between February 1994 and October 1998. Baur has been the regional attorney for equal treatment of women and men in the world of work for the federal states of Tyrol, Salzburg and Vorarlberg since October 1998. She has also been working as a freelance mediator since April 2001.

politics

Baur has been a member of the Sistrans community council since 2004 and represented the Greens from July 1, 2008 to May 24, 2013 in the Tyrolean state parliament. Her political focus lies in the areas of social affairs, health, communities, equality and democracy, and she is also the women's spokesperson for the Green Women in Tyrol. From March to May 2013 she was club chairwoman of the Greens in the Tyrolean state parliament, she took over this position from Georg Willi .

On May 24, 2013 she was elected regional councilor in the Tyrolean provincial government. Your departmental responsibilities included
