Christine Merthan
Christine Merthan (born September 5, 1943 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .
She graduated from the Vienna Conservatory and received her first engagement at the Stadttheater Konstanz at the age of 17 . After spending three years in France and England, she came to the Atelier-Theater am Naschmarkt in Vienna in 1963, where she was given the title role in Wildgans ' Ipotamea .
In 1963/64 she played at the Theater in der Josefstadt , after which she took on engagements at the Staatstheater Darmstadt , at the Comedy at the Marquardt in Stuttgart and at the City Theater of Lucerne . From the end of 1965 to 1967 she worked again at the Theater in der Josefstadt, from 1968 to 1970 at the Schauspielhaus Zürich , from 1970 to 1972 she was part of the ensemble of the State Drama Theaters in Berlin . In 1975 she worked at the Staatstheater Stuttgart , in 1976 at the Münchner Kammerspiele , and in between she made frequent tours. She has also appeared in various television games and series.
