Christof Bartsch

Christof Bartsch (born August 5, 1962 in Olsberg ) is a German administrative and social scientist as well as a local politician .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1981 at the Petrinum grammar school in Brilon, he completed an apprenticeship in financial administration with a degree in finance in 1985 . From 1985 to 1999 Bartsch worked in the tax office in Brilon. While working, he initially studied theology for three years , then from 1989 to 1995 economics with a degree in business administration at the FernUniversität Hagen .

From 1999 Bartsch was a lecturer in tax law and economics at the University of Applied Sciences for Finance in North Rhine-Westphalia in Nordkirchen . From 2007 to 2009 he completed a doctoral degree at the Political Science Faculty of the University of Erfurt while working . He completed this in 2009 with the thesis Appropriate financing of road traffic and the associated doctorate for Dr. rer. pole. from.

In September 2010 he was appointed professor of tax law at the North Rhine-Westphalia University of Finance. He is head of the department for the subjects of work and self-organization as well as administrative management and the social science basics of administrative action .

Bartsch is a member of the SPD . He has been Mayor of Brilon since May 2014 .
