Christof Baumann

Christof Baumann (born December 19, 1874 in Feldstetten ; † May 13, 1959 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg governor .

life and work

The son of a farmer studied law and took the higher administrative service exams in 1898 and 1899. In 1900 he joined the internal administration of Württemberg and in 1905 became a clerk at the Oberamt Backnang. In 1818 he worked as senior government assessor for the government of the Neckar District in Ludwigsburg. In 1919 he became an administrative administrator at the Schorndorf Oberamt and then at the Waiblingen Oberamt . In 1921 he took over the management of the Waiblingen Oberamt as Oberamtmann, from 1928 with the title of District Administrator. From 1928 to 1936 he headed the Oberamt Leonberg as Oberamtmann . From 1936 he was employed as a councilor at the Stuttgart Upper Insurance Office.
