Christofer Frey
Christofer Frey (born April 7, 1938 in Reichenbach / Silesia ) is a German Protestant theologian.
Frey was professor at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg from 1978 to 1982 and then until his retirement in 2003 professor for systematic theology (focus on ethics) at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the Ruhr University Bochum . He received his doctorate in 1967 with Heinz Eduard Tödt at the University of Heidelberg to become Dr. theol. and then worked as a research assistant at the PH Reutlingen. The Habilitation took place in 1972. At Freys students include Peter Dabrock and Wolfgang Maaser .
