Christoffer Carlsson (2013)

Christoffer Carlsson (* 1986 in Halmstadt ) is a Swedish writer and criminologist .

Carlsson was after studying criminology at Stockholm University doctorate . His dissertation and other scientific publications focused on developmental criminology . He gained international fame with his detective novels about the police officer Leo Junker. For the first volume in the Leo Junker series (Den osynlige mannen från Salem) , he was awarded the Swedish Crime Prize in 2013. In 2012 he had already received the European Society of Criminology's young talent award .
