The Christoph mine was a tin mine in the mountain area Johanngeorgenstadt in Saxony Erzgebirge .

In the 17th century, several pits were operated on the Hinteren Fastenberg to mine immediately adjacent tin ducts . This also included the Christoph Fundgrube, awarded in 1674 .

The tin mine was in Steinbach at Pochwerk the bar scale mine not far from Erlabrunn . It was operated by different leanings, but was not very profitable, so that it came to a standstill as early as 1688.
