Christoph Gottlob von Burgsdorff

Christoph Gottlob von Burgsdorff (born March 2, 1735 in Dresden , † January 19, 1807 there ) was an Electoral Saxon official. He was the last supervisor of the Electoral Saxon portion of the county of Mansfeld in Eisleben with extensive powers.

Life

He came from the Brandenburg nobility family von Burgsdorff and was the son of Carl Gottlob von Burgsdorff and Henriette Sophie von Gersdorff . In 1788 he returned to Dresden and became president of the senior consistory . After his departure, the supervisory office in Eisleben was restructured. Burgsdorff married Hedwig Sophie von Loeben (born February 13, 1736/1737 in Mengelsdorf , Upper Lusatia; † November 6, 1766 ibid) on September 30, 1765 in Uhyst ( Upper Lusatia ), the daughter of Wolf Christian Albrecht von Loeben and the Hedwig Elisabeth Sophie Vitzthum von Eckstädt . In his second marriage he married Luisa von Puttkamer (1734–1806) on May 2, 1768 .
